William Laufer, a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, has served as Morris County Bar Association president and has over 40 years of family law experience. Christine Dalena has extensive experience handling complex, high-net-worth, and high-conflict family law matters, and is a court-approved mediator and a collaborative law attorney. James Jensen focuses on matrimonial and family law, but he also handles civil and criminal matters. Terryann Bradley handles complex family law litigation matters and Laurence Cutler is the co-author of the state’s leading treatises in the area of family law. Partner Michelle Benedek and associates Mario Delmonaco, Alexis Laufer, and Gregory Behringer have many years of family law experience and are respected for their knowledge and expertise.

Dalena is the managing member of the firm and has been practicing law for almost 30 years. She specializes in private mediation and in handling complex, high-net-worth, and high-conflict family law matters, pre-nuptial agreements, and adoptions. Christine is a court-approved mediator and a collaborative law attorney, and serves as a blue-ribbon early settlement panelist. She also handles real estate transactions. Jensen is a partner of the firm and concentrates his practice in various litigation matters. Mr. Jensen concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of matrimonial/family law, workers’ compensation, personal injury law, and municipal court. Throughout his career, he has also handled many various types of civil litigation and has represented many clients in real estate matters. Mr. Jensen joined the law firm as a partner in January 2007. Prior to that time, James had run his own successful law practice in Morristown, New Jersey. As a solo practitioner, Mr. Jensen became familiar with virtually every aspect of litigation matters and represented individual clients and small companies. James has served on the Morris County Superior Court Early Settlement Matrimonial Panel for 18 years. He has tried many divorce and custody cases with successful results. He has resolved a United States District Court vaccine injury case fund which resulted in a net settlement to his client in excess of $17 million. Ms. Bradley has practiced exclusively family and matrimonial law since she began practicing in 2000. Ms. Bradley is an experienced family law practitioner who has successfully settled, tried, and arbitrated cases involving all aspects of family law including custody, parenting time, support, equitable distribution, prenuptial agreements, relocation issues, and domestic violence. Terryann has also been appointed by the Court as a Guardian Ad Litem to both financial and custody issues. Ms. Bradley has been recognized and honored by her peers during her career. She was honored with the Essex County Family Law Achievement award in 2010. Jane Ellen Doran Esq. Experienced in all aspects of divorce litigation, including complex valuation and distribution issues of businesses and professional practices, executive benefits, alimony, child support and contested custody and parenting issues, she has an extensive history of negotiating private premarital agreements, marital settlement agreements, and resolution of post-judgment issues. For the last 20 years, Ms. Doran has maintained the honor of an AV Pre-eminent rating by Martindale Hubbell, the highest possible rating for both legal ability and ethical standards. While attending the Wharton program, she studied negotiations under the renowned Stuart Diamond and performed complex business valuation analyses. Behringer joined Laufer, Dalena, Jensen, Bradley, and Doran, LLC in September 2011 following a judicial clerkship with the Honorable James M. DeMarzo, Superior Court Judge for the Family Division, Morris County, New Jersey. Mr. Behringer received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Economics from Hampden-Sydney College and his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University “With Distinction” where he was an Associate Justice of Moot Court. During his law school tenure, Gregory interned at the Rose Immigration Law Firm in Nashville, Tennessee, and completed an externship with Judge Walter H. Rice, United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio. Also while in law school, Mr. Behringer passed the Patent Agent Exam and was admitted to practice Patent Law before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”). Mr. Behringer is an accomplished oral advocate and was the Champion of the Anthony J. Celebrezze Appellate Advocacy Competition where he placed first among all law students in intra-school appellate advocacy competition. Additionally, Gregory was the Champion of the Dan Guy Appellate Advocacy Program where he placed first among his class of over 100 fellow students. For over 21 years, John served as a Superior Court Judge and heard cases in the Family, Civil and Criminal Divisions. Cutler has been involved in virtually every activity in which a New Jersey matrimonial lawyer could be involved over the span of his more than four decades of practice exclusively limited to matrimonial law and related matters. He has been a chairman of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the president of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, as well as a founding fellow of the Chapter. He was also a founding fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a founding diplomat of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers, and a founding affiliate of the Matrimonial Lawyers Alliance and currently its director.
