Russell J. Frank, Esq.

Russell J. Frank, Esq., was born and raised in Central Florida, having graduated from Lake Mary High School in Seminole County, Florida. Mr. Frank earned his undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, from Emory University before moving onto American University’s Washington College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor and was President of the Washington College of Law Sports and Entertainment Society.

Following law school, Mr. Frank spent several years practicing corporate defense for a large international law firm in Washington, D.C. After relocating back to Central Florida, Mr. Frank spent five years as an Assistant Public Defender for the Office of the Public Defender in Orange County, where he was lead counsel in over thirty criminal felony trials, ranging in every offense from Driving Under the Influence to Attempted Murder to Capital Sexual Offenses.

Following his tenure as an Assistant Public Defender, Mr. Frank went to work for a large local law firm where he practiced almost exclusively family law, including dissolution of marriage, paternity, adoption, contempt and enforcement matters, and child support and timesharing modifications. Mr. Frank has also been a Court appointed Guardian Ad Litem for several disadvantaged Central Florida children and is active in raising funds for the CurePSP Foundation for PSP/CBO and Related Brain Diseases, a condition that afflicts Mr. Frank’s father.

Mr. Frank has been an avid fan of the Orlando Magic since its inception and looks forward to the rebuilding of the team and remains optimistic that one day an NBA championship will be brought to Central Florida.
