Looks like the media did a slow job of observing and reporting this time. It was more than a month before People finally broke the news that comedic actor Anna Faris is a married woman.
“Anna Faris and Chris Pratt were married in a small ceremony in Bali on July 9,” Faris’ spokesperson yesterday told the magazine, which reported the Indonesian wedding.
Faris, 32, married TV actor Pratt after less than a year of engagement. Until today, rumors had been circulating that the couple had married (or were going to) in Hawaii.
This is Faris’ second marriage: she tied the knot with actor Ben Indra in 2004, divorcing him in 2007 with the standard “irreconcilable differences” grounds. Pratt previously has been linked to his Everwood co-star Emily VanCamp.
Pratt, 30, also played Ché in the final season of The OC. He currently stars in the sitcom Parks and Recreation.
Anna Faris is likely best known for her lead role in the Scary Movie parody film series; her other film credits include My Super Ex-Girlfriend, The House Bunny, and Observe and Report. She also sang a few songs for the soundtrack of the movie Just Friends. Faris voices one of the characters in the upcoming animated flick Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
