Best known for her role as Winnie Cooper on “The Wonder Years,” Danica McKellar has filed for divorce from a three-year marriage to her composer husband, Mike Verta.
Citing “irreconcilable differences” McKellar, 37, who has since her Winnie Cooper days graduated from UCLA and become a best-selling author of math books aimed at young girls, filed for divorce from Verta in Los Angeles.
The ex-couple have a one-year-old son, and McKellar is seeking joint physical and legal custody.
After eight years of being together, the couple married in San Diego in 2009. The first dance was to a song Verta wrote.
