Deana Carter Files for Divorce

Deana Carter, who shot to international fame in 1995 with her debut albumDid I Shave My Legs for This?has filed for divorce from hubby Brandon Malone.

In a divorce petition filed on Tuesday inLos Angeles,Carter cited the no-fault divorce cause of “irreconcilable differences.”

Carter and Malone tied the knot in 2009, and have apparently been separated since August. The couple have no children, and the divorce filing notes that there is no prenuptial agreement that would establish who gets what when the dust settles.
