In January in Oregon, we got a new rule in one of our counties, Multnomah County, where all the parties must use some sort of ADR, which stands for alternative dispute resolution, which equals mediation. I can see that becoming a state-wide thing that happens. Also, I’m licensed in the State of Washington. There are also mandatory settlement conferences in Washington. The private mediation that we have may be something that courts are requiring. You get to choose who your mediator is going to be on your own in a private way. But courts are really, really pushing for families to use mediation before they come to trial.
