According to PEOPLE, fans of TVs hit (kind of) reality show Dancing with the Stars/DWTS who dream of having a blissful union like the ones apparently enjoyed by the show’s professional dancers Anna Trebunskaya and Jonathan Roberts, will soon need to look elsewhere for their domestic role models now that the two have decided to “dance each other to the end of marriage.” However, unlike some Hollywood break-ups that turn into ugly battles, this one appears to be taking the high road. “We have enjoyed more than a decade of a very loving, loyal and happy relationship, but after much soul searching, we have decided to end our marriage,” the soon-to-be-ex couple offered yesterday in a joint statement. “We are committed to staying friends and dance partners. We have immense respect for each other as people and performers.” Trebunskaya and Roberts married nine years ago. There’s no word yet on whether the divorce will affect either’s future on DWTS. |
