Eva Longoria and Mark Sanchez Call it Quits

It looks as though Mark Sanchez’s off-field issues are even worse than his performance this year as the New York Jets’ QB, now that he and Eva Longoria have decided to call it quits.

Longoria, who stared in Desperate Housewives, was formerly married to NBA star Tony Parker, and perhaps most memorably (at least to some members of the population) was named Maxim’s sexiest woman, is apparently fed up trying to find a Day Planner versatile enough to accommodate both her and Sanchez’s busy schedules. And apparently, he agrees with that story – or, at least his representative does.

“Mark adores and respects Eva. It really was about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends,” the aforementioned representative told US Weekly.

Added to that, someone claming to be an insider noted that: “[Sanchez] likes to go out and have fun. [Longoria’s] more focused on her career and her philanthropic work.”

There are probably more than a few football fans who wonder if Longoria could turn her philanthropic gaze towards finding the Jets a new starting QB.
