The divorce is happening faster than most TV series’ plot developments. Jon and Kate Gosselin, parents of twins plus sextuplets and stars of the hit reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8, are to be legally split next month.
RadarOnline.com reported on Thursday that the Gosselins’ divorce lawyers have worked out a deal privately.
Kate Gosselin, 34, spoke out this week about the breakup on Today and Live with Regis and Kelly. Jon Gosselin was supposed to appear in an E! tell-all interview on Monday, but network cancelled the broadcast because TLC (which airs Jon & Kate) hadn’t approved it.
Meanwhile, Jon Gosselin’s reported current mistress, Hailey Glassman, is going to appear in an exclusive one-hour interview with Giuliana Rancic on E! News. It will be Glassman’s first major media interview, airing this Monday.
According to RadarOnline.com, Glassman, 22, will stay away from the Gosselins’ eight children until the divorce is final. She may appear on the series with them afterward, however.
Jon Gosselin, 32, has been spotted in New York City looking for a new home and possibly other women, according to the New York Daily News.
Jon and Kate Gosselin have been married for a decade and were living in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Their twins are eight years old, and their sextuplets are 15 months old. Jon & Kate Plus 8 has been on the air since April 2007.
