Joint custody works differently than most people believe. Joint custody means joint decision making and decision making is actually major decisions, decisions such as religion or educational decisions. Joint custody has nothing to do with time spent with children, parenting plans and parenting arrangements can be all different sorts of combinations and that doesn’t have anything to do with joint custody which is strictly decision making.
