Sonya C. Miller, from 90’s rap group TRU, has filed for divorce based on “irreconcilable differences” from her husband Percy Robert Miller, 46, better known as hip-hop mogul Master P. Master P and his wife married in 1991, shortly after he founded hip-hop record label No Limit Records and they both released records under the label. Although the business went bankrupt in 2003 due to various lawsuits, it was re-launched by the couple’s eldest son in 2010 as No Limit Forever Records. Master P is reportedly worth over 300 million dollars.
In 2011, Sonya filed for divorce, and though the divorce proceedings fell through, Miller was required to pay his ex-wife a mere $271 a month in child support for their minor children, based off a supposed monthly income of less than $1400. The couple has been reportedly separated since then.
They have six children together, including rapper sons Lil Romeo (Percy III), 24, Young V (Vercy), 17, and model daughter Intyliana, 22, as well as four minor children, Tytyana, Italy, Hercy and Mercy. Master P has three other children, Veno, Cymphonique and Jamel Cook, from extramarital relationships. Sonya Miller has requested full custody of the four minor children, child and spousal support.
