Floridian Stacey Kessler, better known as the Occu-mom who left her former hubby and four kids in order to join the Occupy Wall Street movement, has reportedly received $85,000 in a divorce settlement filed on October 16.
Those documents listed Kessler’s occupation as “protester,” her employer as “Occupy Wall Street,” and her annual salary as $0.
“Military people leave their families all the time, so why should I feel bad?” Hessler told the New York Post in an interview last year that launched her into the public eye. “I’m fighting for a better world.”
Apparently, it’s a fight that won’t be joined by her four kids, aged 8-18. The courts awarded primary custody to her husband, a former advisor with the Bank of America.
