Virginia Dugan, a Family Law Specialist at Atkinson & Kelsey, P.A, answers:
What happens if someone’s spouse won’t agree to get a divorce?
That is most unfortunate, however, no one can keep you in a marriage. If you want to get a divorce, you can see a lawyer, you can see the court alternatives, and you can file for divorce. At that time, your divorce is starting and you can go ahead, your husband or wife will be served, and the process will then start.
