While not classified as the kind of Celebrity Divorce News our readers have come to expect from this section, anything dealing with the never-married mega-everything Taylor Swift is worthy of a headline, and we at Divorce Magazine are certainly not immune.

So without further delay, let us gently break it to you that 22-year old Taylor Swift, pop music’s belovedItgirl who was made even more famous after being publicly dissed by Kanye West at the VMA Awards in 2009, is single again, now that she and Conor Kennedy have decided to go their separate ways.

The split, which insider’s are calling amicable, is being chalked up to scheduling conflicts more than interpersonal ones. It turns out that Swift’s whirlwind performance and PR tour on the heels of her recently-released new albumRedis making it hard to connect. “It’s been over a month since they’ve seen each other,” a friend told US Weekly, “With her promotion forRed, she has no time off until the end of the year.”

It’s unclear whether the Conor break-up will make its way into song. But chances are if there’s a catchy way to rhymeConororKennedy, Swift will find a way and the details will emerge, one addictive hook at a time.
