The situation where children are abducted from other countries has become much more common over the last little while. I can assure you that the country where your child was abducted from is a signatory to the Hague Convention and we do have an expeditious method to getting these children returned. This is an area where I have done a lot of work in and been to the court of appeals several times on issues with respect to the convention. I am confident I can help you get your child back and that the courts be very cooperative and work quickly and efficiently in this area. This is all fine and good providing a child abduction occurs in a country which is a signatory to the Hague Convention. But what is the success rate and/or challengers when children are abducted and/or taken to a country that is not a signatory to the Hague Convention?. Many African countries have not signed on to Hague Conventions.
